Die U.S. Army hatte im Rahmen des Lethal Unmanned System (LUS)-Programm am 3. Oktober 2025 einen mehrj\u00e4hrigen IDIQ-Vertrag (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) im Wert von 982 Millionen US-Dollar\u00a0f\u00fcr die HERO 120 Loitering Munition (LM)-Systeme vergeben. Der Effektor soll vor allem bei den Spezialkr\u00e4ften zum Einsatz kommen (S&amp;T berichtete). Die jetzt absolvierten Tests sind ein wichtiger Meilenstein und Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die \u00dcbernahme in die Nutzung bei der U.S. Army.<\/p>\n<p>HERO 120 ist eine Loitering-Munition mittlerer Reichweite, die taktischen Einheiten F\u00e4higkeiten zur Aufkl\u00e4rung und f\u00fcr Pr\u00e4zisionsschl\u00e4ge bietet. Die Bediener behalten w\u00e4hrend der gesamten Mission die Kontrolle, was die Beobachtung, Verfolgung und Bek\u00e4mpfung von Zielen erm\u00f6glicht. HERO 120 wird gemeinsam von Mistral und Uvision im Rahmen des Portfolios f\u00fcr Pr\u00e4zisionsschlag- und Aufkl\u00e4rungssysteme (Precision Strike Reconnaissance System) der U.S. Army geliefert.
