The German specialist in transport, storage, and protective cases for the defense sector, Zarges, is showcasing at Eurosatory in Paris (Hall 5b, Booth A174) its solutions for logistical operation support and medical supply logistics. The geopolitical shifts of the past years have significantly increased the demand for reliable defense logistics and underscored that this must extend far beyond mere material transport—from the secure provisioning of critical systems to a seamless medical-supply chain in the field, the German company stated during the presentation of the topics.
In Paris, Zarges will show, among other exhibits: missile containers and special transport containers for military equipment, the Smart TSC as an intelligent transport solution for ammunition with integrated sensor technology for lifecycle monitoring, and the modular rack systems Mitraset—for the Bundeswehr the only electronic portable housing certified according to the Defense Equipment Standard 95447.

In addition, the Akku Safe Universal XL for the secure storage and transport of lithium batteries for autonomous systems as well as the Zarges K 470 with individually adjustable foam inserts are included. For military operation as important as the transport of material is the maintenance of weapon systems. At Eurosatory, Zarges demonstrates how aluminum work and maintenance platforms provide safe access to vehicles and large equipment—robustly designed for demanding operating conditions.
Another highlight are the modular supply and transport systems that organize medical equipment according to uniform standards and provide it at different levels of care—from the rescue station to the mobile hospital. The Zarges modular container series, developed for the Bundeswehr as well as civil protection and emergency services, protects and reliably transports medical supplies, tools and spare parts. Prepared to accommodate closed ISO-standard modules, they can be commissioned in the warehouse or at the deployment site according to consumption and swapped quickly.
As an experienced system provider with over 90 years of expertise in aluminum processing, Zarges offers, in addition to the standard range, tailor-made, ITAR-free and fully European-manufactured special solutions developed together with manufacturers. “As a longtime partner in the defense sector, we know what matters,” says Joost Knapen, Head of Product Management & Marketing at Zarges. “We work closely and holistically with our customers and their suppliers to develop new logistics and transport solutions for them that meet specific deployment profiles.”
