Bundeswehr and Reservists Running Team Brings People Together for a Good Cause
The patronage for the sporting event was shared by Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Günther and the Inspector of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Holger Neumann. Their support, according to the organizers, underscored the importance of this special initiative, which brings together people from the Bundeswehr, the Reservists Association, the veterans’ community, and civil society. As always, the guiding principle was “A Home for Respect” and the motto “Keep running to help.”.
The Bundeswehr and Reservists Running Team e.V. was founded in 2020 and has since participated annually in the Wings for Life World Run. In addition, the team regularly engages in other charity and sporting events, combining athletic activity with social engagement. The goal is to bring people inside and outside the Bundeswehr together for a good cause and to take responsibility together.
